We all got into canoes, two or three people to a canoe. We (Greg) paddled through these waterways in
among all these little islands where the lemurs live.
We saw lots of lemurs along the way, but we were heading for
where the Ringtail lemurs live. These
ringtail lemurs seem to live more on the ground than in the trees like the
other ones do. But they were excited to
climb in the canoes to get to the bananas.
They were really cute and fun; and very gentle. Some of them took turns better than others.
